Developed a Dog Walking Platform with Community Engagement and Activity Monitoring

1. Requirements

Stroll Ltd wanted to build a mobile app that would redefine dog walking by integrating social features and real-time activity tracking. The goal was to create a community-driven platform where dog owners can connect, share experiences, and explore new dog-friendly routes together. They needed an intuitive interface that allows users to track their walks, share photos, participate in challenges, and compete on leaderboards. The primary focus was to enhance user engagement and provide a seamless experience across all social and tracking functionalities using a robust, cross-platform solution.

2. Solution

Our team is currently working closely with Stroll Ltd to ensure the app meets all defined requirements and delivers a cohesive experience across both iOS and Android platforms using React Native. This approach allows us to build a high-performance app with a single codebase, ensuring consistency and easier maintenance.

For the design, we created a clean, user-friendly interface that simplifies navigation, making it easy to post photos, view leaderboards, and explore new routes. The app’s layout is crafted to provide an engaging space for users to interact with each other while tracking their daily walks.

The development phase leverages React Native to integrate real-time GPS tracking, a robust social feed, and interactive features like challenges and achievements. React Native’s flexibility and efficiency enable us to ensure smooth performance and seamless user interactions across all devices. Post-launch, we’ll continue providing support to implement new functionalities and optimizations as the community grows and evolves.

3. Current Status

The app is currently in the development phase, with several core features already completed using React Native. We are conducting iterative testing and design reviews to refine the app’s usability and performance. As the project progresses, we are focusing on incorporating more interactive elements and refining the community features to enhance user engagement upon release.
